My work is guided by a desire to improve the quality of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education available to our youngest learners. Quality K-5 education in these fields is vital to graduating highly trained students in STEM fields, a current national priority. Early science experiences build the foundation for lifelong science learning.
I teach courses for Prospective Teachers in our Teacher Education Program and for Ph.D./M.A. students in the Department of Education's graduate program.
