Graduate students in STEM Education at UCSB are working on a variety of projects and thinking about board games and learning about sustainability, equitable access to the ocean and quality environmental education, teacher professional development around climate change, digital games and quantum computing, women's identity as STEM learners, educating museum staff to engage visitors in STEM practices, equity in museums. Graduates have gone on to work as professors at universities, conduct user experience research for the tech industry, work in leadership positions in museums, create and implement professional development and more.
